You'll get better responses if you can be more specific about what you're trying to do.
I'm not sure there are "educational" modules per se, but there are probably ways of getting Drupal to do what you need. For example, if you are trying to share lesson plans you could probably use the Book module. If you want to create educational puzzles, I think there's a games module in development that could fit the bill.
Oh, and with regard to Drupal 6, it won't be "ready for prime time" for a while. Maybe in the early autumn, from what I've heard. But modules usually take a little while after the core is released. So if you want something working now, stick to Drupal 5.
