1- Direct download is a very useful feature, especially for Document Mangement. It remains to be implemented in the 5.x Drupal version (Under the v.4.7 issue, see "Okay... so some solutions": http://drupal.org/node/106851 and Fabio's#2 comment). Indeed, what would exist a download link/tab for if that wouldn't be for download?

Thus, and eventhough it's been a while the previous bug was reported, could those download solutions be implemented for Drupal v.4.7 and v.5.x Video modules? Else, the download feature remains pointless.

2- By the way, there a bug in the Tab menus:
In the "Tab menu options" (Administer › Managing content › Video settings), choosing "yes" under "play inline" won't let the activated download tab be showed in the default node view. Is it an overriding feature of the "play inline" option, or is it just a bug?

While managing document, it's much more effective to have the video showed within the node view than having to hit the play tab (where the node content -metadata in my case- won't appear). But eventhough we host them remotedly, we still need to be able to download them.

3-... Huge thanks for this module anyways! What it does is already great! I wish the Video.module could fulfill my needs (I couldn't end up with someting suitable easily with Flashvideo)...

The download link still work. But lost in the terms, it's much less effective than the tab. Cf screenshot.
