I'm getting the following error every time I do an upgrade of the image modules on multiple sites:

user warning: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'USING image_attach LEFT JOIN node n ON image_attach.iid = n.nid WHERE n.nid IS N' at line 1 query: DELETE FROM image_attach USING image_attach LEFT JOIN node n ON image_attach.iid = n.nid WHERE n.nid IS NULL OR n.type != 'image' in /hostdata/apache/drupal5/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 172.

I didn't see where this was reported anywhere, but I can't imagine that it hasn't been yet. I filed this against 5.x-1.2, but it may be from a slightly older version.

i wonder if this is a duplicate of this issue: http://drupal.org/node/156750

It's possible, but that computer has a rather old copy of MySQL:

jason@home:~$ mysql -V
mysql Ver 11.18 Distrib 3.23.51, for pc-linux-gnu (i586)

I'll check out the fix to see if it works for me, too.

according to the requirements ( http://drupal.org/requirements ) 3.23 should work while 4.1 is the preferred version for drupal core. sadly at this point i don't have the time to go to much extra trouble to support such an old version.

so yeah, no 3.23 specific fixes will be applied.
