A client's hosting company recently rebooted the server that our client is on, and now none of the cck fields are showing up on the site.

I've logged in as admin and I still can't see any fields, it looks like they've vanished - no content types or anything, but when I go to the database all the content and relevant fields are there!

Has anyone come across this before? and a potential solution?

I've asked the hosting company to sort it out - but they haven't done anything yet and it's been 48 hours without a site.

Can you download the site and database and put it on a local machine? See if it works there? I can't imagine a simple reboot would do anything.

Is it possible the MySQL database you are looking at isn't the real one?

I had a host once move my database and not tell me. For a week I was looking at an old database screaming to God for help!

I took a dump of the SQL and the files, loaded up to my dev server and it works fine!

It's connecting to the db as the navigation is in place but I can't see the actual content of the site.
