Using the following:
Print module 6.x-1.16
Drupal 6.25
PHP PHP Version 5.2.6-1

Clicking on "Send by email" link leads to The "Connection was reset" error in Firefox and other browsers (Different error messages though).

Same is true with the settings page on "email" tab:
/admin/settings/print/email
/admin/settings/print/email/strings

Can you please try to re-install the module and clear your caches? Clearly this doesn't happen to me.

It happened after Drupal core was updated to the latest version. Then I updated print to the latest version as well. Cleared all cache entries after running update.php.

PS: Doubled the execution time and memory limit for php but to no avail.

I think you may have a corrupt download. Have you tried uninstalling the module, removing all files and installing a fresh version of the module?
