Excuse me if my question is not asked in the right place (let me know if it is!):

If i am using Speedy with Drupal 7.14 (for example), I can remove all folders in speedy\js other than 7.14 before installing Speedy, right?

Yes you can without any harm in functionality. Those are there for older installs of Drupal.
