We're having a problem where the content of a panel node does not show up. I was following #979912: Panels cache getting stuck, getting white screen on my homepage panel. and updated to the latest version but it didn't seem to fix my problem.

We haven't found a way to replicate the issue. It just seems to happen randomly. Clearing cache fixes the problem. It looks like it's only happening on custom panel templates as well.

Running Apache, PHP, MySQL and memcache.

Any thoughts?

Are the custom panel templates in your theme?

Thanks for the quick reply.

We are using Fusion, which has corporate sub theme which then has a site specific sub theme. There are layouts in both the corporate theme and the corporate sub theme. Both are problematic.

As a workaround you might try moving your layouts from the theme to a module.

Drupal seems to have a bug where themes randomly become disabled and once that happens, the plugins they provide disappear.
