Everytime the css+js cache is cleared the marker cache file is also deleted but not regenerated automatically, so the error "request for invalid marker ..." is thrown. So it should be better to move this file to a own folder.

Moving getlocations_markers.js to a different location would require hundreds of users to rebuild their caches.

The problem does not occur in D7, only in D6 and the cure is simple enough, run a full cache flush which in my experience of D6 you should do after almost any change in configuration or update.

Therefore I feel inclined to leave it where it is.
