Hi.
I need to populate nodes that have a link (URI) to a document in amazon S3 from a CSV and I'm
using Feeds importers. The node has a number of Link fields and the CSV has a value like s3://testbucket/ron/file1.pdf.
What/where changes do I need to make so that in the import the field
will be correctly populated?
Adding this as a supported feature would of course be even better.
Right now what I have in the CSV file is just the URI (e.g.
s3://testbucket/ron/file1.pdf). This will need to be converted to an appropriate URL but there is a function in the Amazon php SDK for doing that -- but where to add that call?
Any help greatly appreciated.

The issue summary is not easy to understand and misses some better description for others to chime in and help. But apart from that: I'll close this issue due to inactivity for 12 years and upcoming EOL of Drupal 7 in January 2025. While the project version for Drupal 7 will keep providing support for security issues and website breaking bug fixes for Drupal 7, we should try to minimize the open issues for Drupal 7 in the queue as much as possible. Thanks for the report and all the efforts in here. Feel free to re-open if you can provide a fix or found an additional related problem which increases the issue priority to "Critical" here.
