Ping does not work with full refresh

When I'm not using the incremental approach, I mean, the full view is refreshed, the ping does not seem to work. A new item is noticed and the view is refreshed, but from this point on, the ping continues to be done using the same timestamp, making the view to be unnecessarily refresh every time.
