I had the player working fine with the glow skin for a week or so. Now the skin won't load and the default skin is showing up. I went to my configuration and the skin had reset to default. I changed it back to glow and saved it but it doesn't show up.

diskojerk commentedcancel this it's an issue with my computer.
At first the skins stopped working on my work computer while working fine on my laptop, now the skins has stopped showing up on my laptop as well. The player reset itself to the default skin, and when i put it back to the glow skin it didn't take effect.

JW Player commented@diskojerk,
Are you still having an issue? Can you provide a link to where the skin isn't loading correctly?
Thanks.

diskojerk commentedMy site is in maintenance mode, once I launch I'll send the URL.
Well, there has been an interesting development. But yes, the issue I posted is still happening.
I cloned the player configuration and used it on different nodes and set autoplay to TRUE. The new player is configuration is using the glow skin as well and it is showing up. At the same time, I went back in and reset the original player back to the glow skin again (as it had reset to default in the configuration section again) but it's still not working with that skin.
One thing I noticed on the configuration main page(where it shows the different player configurations being used) is that where it shows the skin being used, instead of the name of the skin it is showing a full path. On the cloned player it only shows the name of the skin being used.

JW Player commented@diskojerk,
The fact that it is showing the path concerns me. When building the list of skins I basically have a list of paths at which point I strip everything out to get the names. The module uses it's location to know what part of the path to remove. Has any of your directory structure changed recently?
Thanks.

steltere commentedI'm having a similar problem. I had things working okay, except that the html5 player would only show without a playlist, (I started a separate bug report for that.)
Then, I tried to change the skin to "glow." Now, in Chrome, i get a big black rectangle and in FF I get the default skin. If I try to change the skin back to default, (or any other skin,) it tells me that the changes were saved, but the skin doesn't change, and is stuck on "glow".

marleo commentedSimilar problem here. But get this:
I'm logged in as a normal user in a Chrome incognito window and I'm seeing default skin.
I'm simultaneously logged in via a normal Chrome window as admin and I'm seeing the skin I set in the config (Schoon).
Same thing in Firefox.
It's been "acting weird" since I set up the site. Initially, just default skin showed, regardless. After a few days, Schoon showed up but now it's only for admin. Like, random, dude.
No flashvars are set in config.
Clearing drupal caches makes no difference.
