Somehow a completely blank order was successfully submitted. There are no products, no shipping info, no billing info, only shipping charges. The only thing in the order log is "Order status changed from In Checkout to Pending."

Because it happened yesterday and the error log has since been filled up by PHP notices from another module and other entries, I can't find anything in the log that may help figure out what happened.

I found a similar issue (#1053770: Error - An empty order made it to checkout!) for Drupal 6 but it seemed to be theme related and we haven't done anything to our theme since the site launched in January.

Firstly you should upgrade to 7.x-3.1, as numerous bugs have been fixed since rc3; I seem to remember one similar to this but can't find it now.
