dczepierga commentedHi,
Could u check does u have any errors in Firebug (Firefox Addon)?
Do u have cache/optimize enabled in your Drupal?
Greetings
Comment #2
bobburns commentedDo not have firebug
No cache enabled - it is set to normal and page compression enabled
I had to use the development version to get this above to work.
If I down grade to the recommended version - I get NOTHING - OR it loads the entire website view like it is a browser in CKeditor
I am using Ckeditor 3.6.3.7474
It does this on eight websites all similarly configured

dczepierga commentedLast DEV version works for u without any problem?
If yes u must wait for next release of CKEditor module... but DEV version have only 2 changes from last stable version and i don't think they change sth in your case...
Maybe try to disable all options in performance tab (cache/optimize/compress), clear cache and then try to check this... If it doesn't help try to downgrade to 6.x-1.10 and check does it help.
Do u have all websites on this same webserver or webserver with this same configration?
Could u PM me any access to website to see and check what happend?
Greetings

bobburns commentedNo - latest dev does not work with no problem. It does the same thing - must click "disable rich text" then "switch to plain text editor"
The recommended version 6.x-1.11 does not work at all - even doing that above
Nothing enabled in performance - but compress - and turning it off did nothing to fix it.
On one website with ckeditor 3.6.2.7275 - the editor will take text, but it will not save the changes
I am updating them all to be 3.6.3.7474 - but STILL it does that above
If all else fails - I will try the downgrade
No the sites are not all on the same server, but they are all on a shared hosting environment
It must be ckeditor code itself - as I have one site running the 3.4.2.6041 version of ckeditor with 6.x-1.11 and it works fine
