i have problems with "protection on" if i try to jump to the next song by the button or the automatically playlist via repeat.
the player ist in both cases not jumping to the next song.

ff
nearly the same, the player jumpes to the next song but is not playing.

can someone reproduce?

I did a bunch of refactoring and bug fixing that I merged on May 10th. Are you running a dev release from past that date? Note that the code is now refactored into a separate module.

I use the latest dev version (with the separate module) and have the same problems as described above... but in all browsers.
When I uncheck the setting "Protect audio files from direct downloads" everything works fine.

Please let me know if i can provide any info.

I am also having this issue. When in protected mode, the file will not play. This is with both the playlist and single player. I am getting an Access Denied message in the error logs.

Same. Removed the protected mode to be able to listen the 2nd track. Works fine now thanks.

I am also having this issue: running 7.x-2.0-beta1. Playlist Next/Previous buttons work as expected when protection is disabled, but they skip a track when it is enabled. Unfortunately this is a deal breaker for me as I require protection to be turned on: is there a workaround for this?
