I am not really sure as to where to post this so I am going General sorry if this should go somewhere specific.
I am working with Drupal 5.X and am looking for a way to send an email to a group of users listed from a view. I have tried Views Mail this is close to what I want but it misses in that I can not select the users that i want to send the email to from the list that a view is generating and also I would like to be able to write my email rather than select an email that is already written.
The functionality I want is basically what I have seen in CiviCRM 1.5. i am currently not interested installing CiviCRM, even though admittedly it does look very very good. it really just seems like its to powerful for what I need.
In the end I am just wondering if anyone has written a module that does this, I have not seen one yet but might have missed it. Also if no one has is this type of module of interest to anyone out there?
