Description

Using the latest 4.x dev snapshot dated Feb 25, 2007 and the latest version of CCK for 4.7, when I enable CCK Field Permissions for a CCK content type, regular and anonymous users who attempt to create that content type are only shown the title field. Those groups have the correct permissions checked to view all the fields under cck permissions management, but not to create/edit some of the fields.

Even the fields not under CCK field permissions management via the settings page do not show up at all on the add content page, just the title entry box.

Most of the fields are in fieldgroups, if that matters.

The current non-dev 4.7 version of CCK field permissions doesn't have this issue, but that version also doesn't restrict permissions on fields at all, so it's completely useless.

On a side note, is there a working version of cck field permissions for 4.7 w/the latest cck and fieldgroups? If there is a 5.x version that works, can the last couple months of bug fixes get backported to 4.7, if this issue has already been fixed in 5.x?
