I use this primarily for system announcements, e.g., system going down, new features available, etc.

Since this wasn't in RB, I tossed in a new module dedicated to date and time conditions and actions (although I haven't implemented any of those). I've attached the module and it's info file to this post.

Use it or not as you choose.

Thanks for a great framework and the additional conditions, etc. are proving to be pretty handy.

This could be incorporated in Rules, see #348731: Condition: date/time comparison.

Are you interested in porting this to a patch?
