I have tried to upgrade all contrib modules to latest versions, but still using Drupal 7.12 core, and it works w/o any issues.

However, when trying to upgrade only core to either 7.13 or 7.14, I have got weird, broken results, as shown on attached screenshots.

Not sure if this is anything serious, but probably worth investigating anyway.

I have a drupal 7.14 martplug profile install, and was receiving the same issues.

I've just finished updating all the contributed modules for the profile, as well as db schema. I plugged in drupal 7.13 core modules to resolve v7.12 security issues, and this issue was resolved. I have not yet tested whether or not other problems have surfaced, but it would seem to me that this issue is spread across two locations. - one of which ( via a contributed modules update ) is fixed. The other part of this issue must be coming from a core issue resolution when moving from v7.13 to v7.14.

In other words. A temporary work-around for this issue is as follows:

  1. Install distribution as normal - packaged with 7.12 core
  2. Update all contributed modules
  3. Apply 7.13 security updates via a patch to core modules
