yourpay.com linkconnect

I am needing a linkconnect/YourPay Connect payment module...
I'll review the paypal and authorize.net modules but is there a doc on how to roll new payment mods out? or a default template to just add in parameters of different gateways? I guess maybe that exisiting modules could just be re-worked.
I dont have much time to focus on this, however. I could pay for dev, unless next month i am freed up more. anyone interested?

also, i think an added path to a 3rd party gateway would be good. meaning, let the cart and data gathering happen through this ecommerce module but let the payment step launch *any* 3rdparty processing form. This way, at least some data can be stored in drupal and with some additional development, feed in the transaction results to display here as well afterwards, depending on 3rd party system functions. but at least this could provide a general purchase path without integrating the gateway as a module.
