Currently nodes display the date/time that the user began writing the node. This causes confusion for those who take a long time to compose a node. For instance: If I begin writing a node at 9 a.m., but hit the "submit" button at 11:30 a.m., the date/time of the node will be listed as 9 a.m. This causes confusion among readers, who expect the timestamp to reflect the date/time the node was actually posted.

I request that this behavior be changed to reflect the actual submission time of the node, or that an option for this change be added to the next version of Drupal
