Hi there,

I am trying to setup Upcoming products, where products are pre published with actual publishing date. and users (customers) should be able to order them by pre purchasing the order.

I could not find any relative modules to achieve this. Please help me if some of you have already worked on this.

Or use one of the stock control modules to flag the item as out of stock.

Oh wait you still want people to be able to purchase them? Then just make them available as normal, and don't ship the order until they are in stock; there is no difference from a customer's point of view.

Hi Longwave, Thanks for the relpy.

We actually want to sell non-shippable products which user will be directly downloading from our site once the payment is complete.

So I wanted to display few of the products as 'Upcoming products'. so that customer orders in advance for the upcoming products.

I thought of doing this using 'conditional actions'

Added a field (Select list) for product content type.
as Status: Upcoming | Launched

but now I cannot setup conditional actions based on the CCK field value :(

I think we need Conditional actions based on CCK fields then I could get this done. but unfortunately there are no modules to do that :(
