I have installed the latest version of SWF Tools and am having a heck of time getting it to work. One problem that I see that may have something to do with difficulty is in the Javascript Embedding Settings where I see the following error messages for jQuery Plugin, SWFObject and UFO:
JavaScript Embedding
Method:
jQuery Plugin - Luke Lutman - Missing
SWFObject - Geoff Stearns - Missing
UFO - Bobby Van der Sluis - Missing
Embed Flash Directly, don't use JavaScript replacement.
I have checked off the Jquery, SWFObject and UFO modules in the Admin page so I'm at a loss as to what is wrong.
Can you help?

AtomicPenguin commentedI'm having exactly the same problem. Any advice?
simeStarting from scratch. Have you downloaded SWFObject and uploaded it to your site?
simeAlso, you only need one of those script options - disable jquery and ufo modules for example.

InterceptPoint commentedI seem to have solved the missing plugin problem by putting the various .js and .swf files in the subdirectories per the README.txt file in the /shared subdirectory. But I still can't get things working.
Here is what I want to do: Play an already uploaded .mp3 file in the wijering player. I want to use jquery if it is needed.
I have created /swftools/shared/lutman and copied in jquery.flash.js
I have created /swftools/shared/flash_media_player and copied in mp3player.swf
I have re-named mp3player.swf to mediaplayer.swf
I have enabled SWFTools
I have enabled Wijering Flash
I have enabled jquery.flash.js
UFO and SWFObject are NOT enabled
What I need is:
1. Confirmation that the files are in the right places and named correctly or a fix for same.
2. An example script that would play files/audio/mymp3file.mp3 if embedded in, for example, a page or a book or a blog entry.

simeI recommend swfobject instead of jquery.flash.js. For no other reason than, that's what I use most.
http://emspace.com.au/demo/swftools has examples. Please open a new issue for new problems though, closing this. Thanks

konsumer commentedI think the error message should be more descriptive. I put the jquery js in modules/swftools/lutman rather then shared/lutman. a "shared/" added to the error messages would have kept me from searching for this issue.

Stuart Greenfield commentedIn SWF Tools 6.x-3.x everything is moved to a library, and I don't think SWF Tools 5 is that heavily used so I'll leave it as is.
