I have created a dev release of my contributed module and named the short URL as node-collection (hyphen without an underscore http://drupal.org/project/node-collection). I haven't realized that the short name will be associated with the releases as well and now all the tarballs are downloaded as node-collection.tar.gz and node-collection.zip instead of node_collection.tar.gz and node_collection.zip. Is there a way to change this to use underscores rather than hyphens ? I don't mind changing the project short URL as well if needed to underscores rather than hyphens.

gregglesI think the only solution is to delete the project and then sankatha recreates it.
Let me know if you want me to do that.
Please find any issues associated with the project and copy them. I forget if they get deleted or just orphaned (i.e. need to have the association re-generated).

gregglesIssues can't be copied automatically, it must be done manually. You should create the new project first, move the code and issues and any other content, and then delete this.
