Assigning multiple roles to a node restricts access from all users

I apologize if this has already been posted, but I've run across an issue that I can't seem to find an answer to... and yes... I'm a newbie. I am trying to implement Taxonomy Access Control to manage node access security. I've created the vocabularies and terms, users, views, content, etc.

The problem lies in the fact that when I create content, select multiple roles for access on a published node, it is not viewable by any of my authenticated users assigned to any of those node-selected roles.

If I only select one role to give access to that node, the users assigned to that role can see the node.
