Beyond frustrated. Worked on this issue for over 3 hours, nothing.

Issue: When I try to make a basic page, I click save and the page reloads as a Create Basic page again. Nothing will save. I also tried to updated some other little things like the admin email address and it does the same thing when I save... just reloads. Strange thing: When I just put a small title (one or 2 letters) and nothing much in the content, it will save the page. WTFrack?!?! I have no clue. I went and rebuilt the permissions for the administrator account. Didn't help.

Environment: Just upgraded to Drupal 7.14, and updated the Token, Pathauto modules. I also configured Pathauto module to not use /content/ path and just use the mywebsite.com/blah-blah.

This one has me stumped... could someone give me some suggestions?

So just for the flip of it, I created another super user account with all permisions and tried to update content.. no go. Same issue.

Please help.

Hour and hours I spent on this one.., I am posting back to community in hopes that I can save some people a TON of headaches.

Issue: There were a few, but overall, I was having issues updating the password for my USER 1 account. User 1 account refers to the account used to set up Drupal. I have about 30 installs of Drupal out there, and most of them I use that account to do all of my updates and administration. YES, i know that is not best practice, and I am changing the way I do this.

So I was having issues updating my password, email, anything on the USER 1 account. Some pages I could not create, others I could.. I even tried setting up another user that had all the permissions needed, and it would not work either.

Here is what was wrong: There was something messed up at my hosting company (HostIgnition.com). Apparently, there was an issue with the mod_security rules, they reset them and all is working fine. FML. Hours and hours of research.. At least I can sleep well tonight.
