Is there a way to only display the group pages of those groups the user is a member of in the side menu, rather than displaying them to everyone?

If you check out groups.drupal.org there is a block on the righthand side that is labeled My Groups. I'm not sure which module they used to do this but at least its out there. Does anyone know what they use? I agree it would be better than displaying all groups to everyone in my application. Maybe in the future it will become a built-in feature but we'll just have to wait and see.

not sure if you ever got anything back but I ended up making a primary link at the top called "My groups". If anyone is looking later just add a new menu item with the path og/my. It gives a list of all groups to which that a particular user is subscribed. Maybe this will help someone who falls on this topic in the future. Take care.
