I have been reading about Multisite setups at http://drupal.org/node/43816 and the Multidomain module.
But i would like a slightly different approach:

I'd like a Multidomain setup with 1 primary domain, eg. CompanyHeadquarters.com.
Then i'd like to have subsites on other domains, eg. CompanyLocal.be, which would share most of the content with the content on the HQ site, but also comes with some additional specifically local content. However i'd like to store this local content on a separate DB, which seems to be complicating things.

Anyone knows how i should solve this?
