I've just run across a scenario where I installed auto_nodetitle 1.7 on a site, opened the Automatic Title Generation fieldset in my new content type, and immediately became disoriented by the immense lack of instructional text. Where were the tags and tokens I was allowed to use? Views shows me what I can choose from. Same thing with Pathauto. Why doesn't Automatic Nodetitles do the same thing? Who wrote this shite?
At that point, I discovered that although I thought I had installed Token last week, I never enabled it! Pilot error! We're all gonna crash!
It was totally my fault, and not the module developer's error. Then I got to thinking that if the module performed a check for the enabled Token module, and returned a message to the user if Token was missing, wouldn't that be great? I don't know if this is a bug or a GUI feature request, but since the absence of this proposed warning message could make a user think that auto_nodetitle was broken, I thought it best to file under the bug report category.

fagoauto_nodetitle is working great even without the token module. This is why it doesn't depend on it. shite!
