I need to pull the map that is generated by map/node into a view.

This map works well because it has separate color pin points and pulls balloon styles from the appropriate node template files.

Actually, what I meant to say earlier, was that I need to pull the map/node into PANELS not Views.

I want to make a map key to tell the difference between the different color pins and I would also like to include links below the map.

If it's not possible to pull it into PANELS is there anyway to append code to the existing module?

I tried to add $output .= 'insert code i need here' before return $output but that didn't work.

I believe this should work:

1) Make a page node with filter set to PHP mode.
2) Make it like this:

  echo gmap_location_node_page();

3) Add the node to your panel.
