hmm, i so i believe that everything is set up correctly, including the allowed file extensions in the file field within nodes, and ran update.php to add db tables, and configured to include 'files' and clicked save, but now - and this was working before attachments was enabled - i am able to attach a file to a node, but unable to save the node/publish...any idea why?
i don't get an overlay error, just an error screen. btw, doing this on acquia so not using tika locally, using remote solr (no errors in that regard, simply will no longer allow me to attach a file to a node, very strange)
any thoughts?

zilla commentedupdate: i have also enabled attachments within a field within comments, they work fine, though not sure yet if they index (need to double check that later)
REVISIONS/DIFFS appears to impact this. my nodes allow for revisions, and for some reason this is a conflict with solr attachments, though no idea why.
any (revised) thoughts?

zilla commentedupdate: appears to have less to do with revisions than originally suspected. disabling revisions and diffs entirely has no impact.
it appears that once "solr attachments" is enabled, users with any class of permissions (including admin) are unable to attach files to nodes (though still able to attach images oddly enough)
closing and reopening as isolated bug.
