we have a web page where we list mp3's in two columns. one column is most recent and the other is most played.
Where the two columns overlap, the mp3's won't play. there is no play button, only a pause button over top it, in fact.
it looks like jplayer has assigned identical id's to the duplicate mp3's which is not good in general I know, but what can I do to make a mp3 html5 player for ipad/iphone users on our Drupal 6 site?

This has been fixed in #1194384: jPlayer breaks if the same player is embedded multiple times on a page. Try the latest dev release and see if you're still running into problems with duplicate IDs, but it should be fine.
