I have deleted the login block from my sidebar.
I still am logged in. but cannot find a way to recover the login block to my home page.
I am a newbie of course. I am looking in the admin> structure> blocks
( and every where else) for a block that says Login.. but can't find a way to recover/restore that.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

It should be there in admin> structure> blocks
Hi Kathleen,
You might have disabled the block. Because, You cannot delete the block that is coming from Module Code. You can find the block in Disabled section in admin> structure> blocks.
Go to admin/structure/block/manage/user/login/configure to configure user login block.
