I've been using the blog content type up until now and have never had any problems with promoting the item to the front page for anonymous users to see. This evening I used Story instead of blog and my content can be seen, but only by logged in users. It isn't on the front page to an anonymous user. What do I need to do to make it viewable? No unusual modules on. Mostly just core.

have you checked for access in story / content modules ??

I have access content checked in access control. I don't see any granular control over story.

I think it might have to do with a performance setting I had set. It now appears to be working. Perhaps a cache issue.
