Hi,

I've developed a new module called phpids (http://www.drupal.org/project/phpids) and the first dev release is ready for testing. It uses the PHPIDS (http://www.phpids.org) package to add an extra security layer around a drupal site. I'd like to hear your feedback on about anything you can think of: code review, issues, suggestions on how to extend the functionality etc.

Thanks in advance,
Kris

Hello Kris,
I installed this module on my site and it's great to have this module.
Some feedback:
- I see that comment spammers continue to try to hack the site/database.
Not yet found any spam links in my database :) I appreciate to have visibility now to watch their attacks.
- Some own node modifications will be listed as level >40. A filter to exclude own site's post would be fine.
- Some of the messages are too long. On fixed width themes the message will be cut off or overlapping with
the sidebar.
Thanks,
Michael

Thanks for the feedback. I'm busy installing more filters to exclude a) users/roles and b) node content c) things I'll think of while programming. Hoping to get this out in a week or 2! I'll have to come up with the messages with indeed, I've noticed this issue myself while trying a new theme today on my own site :)
