Hello,

I've recently installed the UC Sage Payments Gateway module, and went to enter the Merchant ID and Merchant Key info. at /admin/store/settings/payment/edit/gateways

My client sent me their Sage Payment Solutions info. as "Merchant Account" and "Store Key".
I assume these match with, respectively, the website's "Merchant ID" and "Merchant key" fields in the admin area.

However, the client's Merchant Account number is 16 characters, and the website's field only allows 15. Also, the client's Store Key number is 30 characters, and again the website field only allows 15.

Am I getting incorrect information from the client, or does this module need to be updated to allow additional characters in those fields?

You may not have the correct codes. Sage calls them "Merchant ID" and "Merchant Key", and according to their specifications each is 12 characters. Go to https://www.sagepayments.net/virtualterminal/ and see if you are able to log in with the credentials they gave you. The Merchant ID and VT ID (Virtual Terminal ID) are the same thing.
