Hello,

I want to make a website for my personal media files such as movies and tv shows
i will host it with hostgator

what i have in mind is TMDB site http://www.themoviedb.org/ Look
i will add movies manualy or mybe if their is plugin for imdb or tmdb i can use that too
want simple look

Please advise on template and plugins to use for such things

create a content type
add your fields

create lists with views.module

template you can start with zen as a base theme and build a sub theme and theme as you like

i am kinda new to website building and kinda new to drupal
please take little slow so i can catch up . it seems you know what you talking about can you explain little more so i can start building my site

if you are new to drupal and to websites in general I suggest reading the documentation http://drupal.org/documentation

and familiarizing yourself with the technology before trying to build any production site.
