I have all my Linux file system premissions set to 777 for the target folder, and I have IMCE_mkdir installed. All the other IMCE features work, except mkdir. I have a "Directory" button in the IMCE file browser, but when I click it, all it does is let me remove a directory. There is no option to add. I have my IMCE profiles set to allow me to do everything, including "add subdirectories." Still not button. Please help! This system is due to go live any day now, and users need to be able to create subdirectories. Any help is greatly appreciated.

MrSasquatch commentedNever mind. :) The setting in the IMCE profile for maximum subdirectories was "2" and there were already several subdirectories, so no more could be created. As soon as I changed that setting to "0" (zero), which disables that setting, then I could create unlimited subdirectories, and so then the "Add" button started appearing again. All fixed. :)

reinaldoc commentedThis happened to me today, when reaching the maximum number of directories the option to create new ones is hidden.
Thanks @MrSasquatch

petednz commentedCaught me out too when masquerading as someone who should only be able to 'create directory' only to find they were not seeing the Directory button at all. thank you.
wondering if '2' in the subdirectory setting is some sort of default as seems an odd issue for multiple of us to hit.
