Hi Wulff,

Just wondering if it would be possible to integrate full views nodeinblock integration. What I mean by that is that all works fine until say something like a slideshow which uses multiple nodes put together through a view is implemented. Obviously the single node itself displays in which ever block the user has specified but there is no functionality or interaction between the nodes. This would obviously require a backend drupal views/nodesinblock setting. (views-backend.png screenshot).

I don't know if this would be possible and doesn't sound easy to implement. I assume the setup integration would be under "format > settings" within views once a specific format has been chosen.

Then maybe there could be an extra option within the actual "nodes in block tab" specifying the view in which that specific node is part of? (views-frontend.png screenshot).

It would just mean that any node effectively could be placed within a block region and set from within the content type backend form.

I promise no more feature requests will be made! I'm hoping that if the two features i've requested could be implemented it would do away with the need for that blocks page once and for all.

What do you think?

I think that having a filtering clause like:
"Node" > "Node is bound to a block via Nodes In Block" (boolean)
would be very useful so that one can easily exclude nodes already used in a front-page via NIB from a view (without having to play with keywords).
