markhalliwellI don't really think this will happen. This kind of functionality seems rather rare and site specific.
What use case requires a view on EVERY menu item? What is the view? If it's a "generic" view, could it just be embedded on the theme layer?

rnyberg commentedIf you check gbtimes.com top menu, you can see what we built with the menu views module. We just did it by hand for all menu items on all languages, took a while but works pretty nicely.

markhalliwellIt looks good. I am sorry that it took long to do. I am a little unfamiliar with the translation of menus. Are you saying that when attaching the view to a [default language] menu item, it doesn't work for other languages? So you have to go back and add and configure the same view to each of the separate menu item languages individually? Any idea on what I should be looking for here?
rnyberg commentedI think it would work for translated menu items without a hitch, but sadly all our languages have pretty differing content and only a few "global" common menu elements, which is why I hope that there could be some bulk way to add menu views to menu elements in the future for similar use cases! :)

markhalliwellI'm going to have to postpone this issue. If a patch comes along or more interest from others, then I'll pursue this issue further. Until then, you'll just have to add them the ol' fashioned way.
