Prevent exceptions (in contextual filters) from adding to the breadcrumbs

When you add a contextual filter, there is are exception settings, "Exception value" and so, but no way to disable the corresponding breadcrumb.

Adding the breadrumb make very much sense if the URL of the page display has the contextual filter value at the end - "node/%" vs "node/all". However, adding the breadcrumb if the page display is "node/%/whatever" (typical a menutab) is not good at all IMHO.

PS! What is the best work-around until this gets fixed?
