It seems that UUID causes issues with entity caches, and entity_info_hooks, resulting in many issues in multiple projects (including Commerce, Rules and Views). I'm hoping that this thread from the Rules issue queue is helpful.

But please re-open and provide some more information, if the problem still exists after upgrading to a later version of UUID.
