This will need to be split into other issue tasks, but I would like to see a simple grid added and theme settings to allow the user to have some basic controls of layout in the Drupal UI.

This is the kind of thing that skinr module could be used for possibly.

This would be really nice to have at some point but will require to much testing at this point in the theme's lifecycle. Instead we have implemented a flexible solution based on 1140 grid that changes the grid layout based on what regions are set.

Marking as Closed since we do not know if it will ever actually get implemented.
