Hello everyone.. I'm beginning to work on a new website for our scout troop and found Drupal in the process. I toyed with some of the nukes about a year ago, and from what I remember anyway they didn't come close to this..

ANYWAY, I have taxinomy access restrictions set so that there are a few terms that are visible only to leaders of the troop, not to the scouts themselves. It seemed that this worked fine, until I set up the search module and realized that all it does is essentially hide the index, but the content itself still comes up in the search. I've seen the module for node access byrole, but it seems like there should be a way I could automatically set privacy based on the term its being assigned to? Further can I get the search to not display nodes that are hidden from a given role?

In the situation I described it really isn't a big deal that some kid in the troop might find out something that a leader posted to their section, but what worries me is the fact that an anonymous user could easily come in and pull up nodes that may contain personal information...

Any and all help, suggestions, comments, flames, whatever are appreciated. Thanks!
