Description

I have been waiting for something like this module for a long time, and it would be awsome to see it fully developped; so, thank you.

Here is are my suggestions for improvement:

1) There must be a settings page for this module which would enable users to customize the settings according to their needs.

2) VERY IMPORTANT feature: upon registration of a new User or a new OG, the username or groupname would automatically generate username.domain.com or groupname.domain.com, where their individual or OG websites would be hosted. (exactly like in wordpress.com)

I noticed that goingon.com (which runs on Drupal 4.7) has automatic subdomain generation somehow enabled.

From what I understand with this module one can create as many subdomains as he wants, while all subdomains are still based on the same database. But what if it is a site where there are hundreads of OG and thousands of Users. It would be nightmare for admin to create all those subdomains manually. Therefore I think there should be a choice to make it automatic.

3) It would also be nice to have more documentation, expecially on how to set this up on Localhost

Thank you

I second the feature request for number 2!
However I think there must be a check for duplicates prior to the automatic creation of the subdomain. Does Drupal allow the same username for multiple users? The same name for an organic group node? In such case a suffix could be appended to the subdomain name eg. the node or user id

Is there any modules for subdomain as per username/groupname?
