Hi,

I don't know if it really belongs to transliteration, but without it everything is fine.

My base language is German and I'm using Pathauto with Transliteration to get proper URLs without diacritics.

When I create or update an English translation to my German nodes the source node path will be altered and changed to a slightly different notation than specified in the Pathauto patterns.

In specific all umlauts in the paths are changed from transliterated versions to single letters:
produkte/buerste (Bürste)
will be changed to
produkte/burste

It's strange, as I can't reproduce this form of transliteration in any other way. Could it be that Transliteration is not using the language of the source node but of the translated node (or user interface)?

Hmm ... it seems to be that Pathauto is not providing the correct language code. I created an issue for Pathauto: http://drupal.org/node/1596252

Since you found out that Pathauto is the culprint, I'm closing this one.
