The attached patch to the htmlpurifier library will help allow tables to pass validation with required scope property for WCAG requirements.

Patch is also now on d.o. so it can be included in distro packaging scripts.

I'm not sure this fits on the d.o. issue queue. Requests for enhancements to external libraries really belong in the domain of the external library.

Don't disagree, patches need to live on d.o. for the packaging script and this location made the most sense as it was related; sorry for bloating the queue.
