this module is excellent. I had it running without any problems :)

however, I'm trying to make it work with a TPL that's been heavily modified, preferably using field_view_value as per instructions in this blog post: Rendering Drupal 7 fields (the right way).

but I can't for the life of me output the object as a rendered direct link to the file. can you please help me out?
