I found a way to extract the strings myself. Attached is the German Translation. Please check it, because I'm rather new to contributing to Drupal.

Thank you very much for your work!
I'm updating the module at the moment and a lot is being changed and simplified. Can I ask you, when I'm finished, to edit the translation to cope with the changes?
I'll try and make it easy for you by creating a po-file (for Dutch) which you can edit accordingly.

Of course. I'll gladly contribute a German translation if you have a po file.

D6 has now a german translation. Also, the D5 release (as does the D6 release) has a template file (*.pot) if you want to translate D5.
