Release Date?

This is currently my favorite project and I am heavily working on it when I have time to.
I hope I can release a first dev snapshot until end of june. And then I need help to test.

We build a new project place for our company as a distribution. And we also want a kanban implementation in drupal. So contact me if you need a coder.

Happy to help you test this. Would be keen to see even a buggy version of where you are at.

@erikseifert: Thank you for offering programming help. I will think about main code parts where you can possibly help on an earlier stage. I will contact you in the next days.
In any case I need help with the user interface because I am not so experienced in javascript. And I like to have an interface like other kanban solutions. Can you offer help with javascript or libraries like jquery? Maybe we can use dragable views?

@bnicoll: Because of customer projects I am a little bit outside my time plan. So testing of dev code have to wait a little bit.

That Kanban JS implementation at #4 is awesome.
I'd love to use a kanban implementation like this as part of a committee/meeting management website - where we have a large number of items on agenda "backlog", and the kanban board could be used to generate next meeting agenda, and track completed agenda items.

After some code cleanup I define an 7.x-1.0-alpha1 release and hope for some feedback and testing. Because of my plans to rewrite the code on an new branch 7.x-2.x the 7.x-1.x will not get new features. 7.x-2.x will also be the basement for a port to D8.

Check out Content Planner Drupal 8 module https://www.drupal.org/project/content_planner which provides a Kanban facility.

Also have a look at https://www.drupal.org/project/openlucius_board (as part of https://www.drupal.org/project/openlucius) for Drupal 7 though this is not supported anymore. So Content Planner is your best bet.
