What's the future for Boxes and Beans?

Integration of Bean and Boxes

it looks like the Bean and Boxes modules are merging. What's the future for these two modules? Will Boxes end up going away in favor of Bean, or will Bean be rolled into Boxes? For someone choosing between the two for a current project, would it make more sense to go with Bean, even though it's apparently being ported into Boxes?

so currently, what is a better approach ? Entity box -> beans ? Or what ?
